Role Overview

Help local businesses in Southeast Texas grow and reach the audiences that matter to them. As Account Executive, Retail Advertising Sales with the Beaumont Enterprise, you'll maximize advertising sales potential by developing quality business relationships and promoting new and existing advertising products, simplifying the marketing process and helping advertisers track the impact of their campaigns and understand their options.

You'll focus on prospecting and lead development with local businesses, and on managing local agency business in Beaumont, TX, selling print and digital advertising solutions. You'll collaborate with clients and our team to build marketing solutions that help our customers grow their business.

On-site: This role is based in Beaumont, Texas.

What You’ll Do

  • Consistently meet or exceed all print and digital revenue goals.
  • Understand clients’ advertising needs and develop the ideal marketing solution for them using a consultative sales approach.
  • Deliver customized sales presentations in person, by phone or through web demos.
  • Generate new leads through cold calls and by staying aware of new businesses opening in the area.
  • Manage local agency business in Beaumont, TX.
  • Be the face of the Enterprise and ensure a superior customer experience.
  • Take on other responsibilities as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience with a proven record of exceeding goals, and experience with Salesforce or another CRM.
  • A passion for educating clients about their marketing options and closing deals.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • A self-motivated, results-oriented approach and an outgoing, resilient personality.
  • Enjoyment of the thrill of the hunt in bringing in new business, with the confidence and drive to never accept average.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Digital sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Compensation

This role is eligible for commissions. The base salary range and total on-target earnings (base plus commissions) below are the Company's good-faith estimate for the posted work location at the time of posting. Final starting salary will be based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including skills, experience, training, certifications, education, location and market considerations.

Base Salary Range:

$50,000—$60,000 USD

Total Compensation Range (Base Salary + Commissions):

$100,000—$100,000 USD
