Summary

As a Nursing Assistant at Heart for Seniors Home Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our senior clients. This position is essential in ensuring the comfort and well-being of those we serve, contributing to our mission of compassionate home healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and health status of clients.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Help with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding client needs and changes in condition.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
  • Support clients in managing their medications as prescribed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or similar role in senior care is preferred.
  • Strong care giving skills with a focus on compassion and empathy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with seniors and their families.
  • Familiarity with medical documentation practices is beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge of infectious disease care and urgent care procedures is a plus.
  • Must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License, current auto insurance, and social security card
