The posting

Voor onze dagwerking voor onze hoofdcampus te Ekeren zijn wij op zoek naar een enthousiaste agogisch begeleid(st)er. Noorderdok is een dagwerking voor kinderen en jongeren tot 21 jaar met een motorische en/of verstandelijke beperking, een niet aangeboren hersenletsel of een neuromusculaire aandoening.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Als agogisch begeleider ondersteun en stimuleer je de sociaal-maatschappelijke, emotionele, cognitieve en relationele ontwikkeling van kinderen, jongeren of volwassenen met een motorische en/of verstandelijke beperking.
  • Je volgt het individuele groeiproces op in functie van maximaal empowerment en integratie in groepsdynamische en maatschappelijke situaties.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat knelpunten besproken kunnen worden met zowel de cliënt als in het team.
  • Je staat in voor de verzorgende handelingen en specifiek verpleegkundige handelingen die vermeld staan in het zorgplan van de cliënt.
  • Je biedt individuele ondersteuning tijdens de schooluren voor kinderen en jongeren die naar school gaan in één van onze partnerscholen (ADL, verzorging …).
  • Je zorgt voor de nodige ondersteuning op woensdagnamiddag en tijdens de vakantieopvang.
  • Je bent mee verantwoordelijk voor de voor- en naschoolse opvang van de cliënten.

Wie ben je?

  • Je reflecteert over je eigen handelen en staat open voor feedback.
  • Je legt gemakkelijk contacten waardoor het bespreken van knelpunten mogelijk gemaakt wordt.
  • Je bent bereid je flexibel op te stellen voor de continuïteit van de werking op woensdagnamiddagen en vakanties.
  • Je kan werken in een teamverband en bent dynamisch en creatief.
  • Je beschikt over een secundair diploma in het studiegebied personenzorg of een bachelor in een sociaal-agogische richting.
