THE OPPORTUNITY

Hedge is hiring a founding Head of Partnerships to create the alliances that expand our distribution, capabilities, and reach. This is not the carrier-appointment role. You will own strategic relationships with agency networks, associations, technology providers, data partners, and other platforms that can create durable, two-sided value.

COMPENSATION AND OWNERSHIP

Base salary is $120K-$250K. Equity is 0.25%-1.25%. We will size the package to the scope, network, and operating ownership you bring.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

- Develop and prioritize Hedge's partnership strategy

- Source, negotiate, launch, and grow agency-network and association partnerships

- Build technology, data, distribution, and program alliances where they create clear customer value

- Create partner economics, launch plans, success metrics, and governance

- Coordinate product, legal, operations, and go-to-market work required to make partnerships real

- Build a repeatable pipeline and operating cadence, not a collection of logos

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

- First 30 days: map the partner landscape and define a ranked strategy

- By day 60: advance a focused pipeline with clear value propositions and economics

- By day 90: launch or materially advance the first high-value partnership

- In 12 months: create a portfolio of partnerships that produces measurable distribution, product, or data advantage

WHO THRIVES HERE

You are a senior relationship builder who can also structure deals and drive implementation. You distinguish partnership theater from operating leverage and are comfortable being accountable for results after the agreement is signed.

WORK MODEL

This role may be based in San Francisco or remote within the United States. Regular travel for partner and team work is expected.
