Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $55,000.00 Annually

Overview
Maintain all building related systems and the building envelop to ensure the safety of associates, and vendors. Ensure compliance with company Engineering Assumptions/Culture, preventative maintenance programs and procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Mission Vision and Values as well as all Building/Fire/Health Department codes. Maintain building complex as energy efficiency as possible constantly looking for ways to save energy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide Daily routine preventative maintenance and repairs to all laundry equipment.
- Works with all of the production and mechanical equipment throughout the plant.
- Prepares distribution carts in all areas of the plant.
- Attends all departmental, companywide and factory in-service training and education programs.
- Provides prompt feedback to the director of production, maintenance, safety, security and physical environment problems.
- Maintain the building exterior and "curb appeal" (e.g., snow removal, lawn care, painting, gardening).
- Move furniture and fixtures throughout the building.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Operation of heavy machinery.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of three years of management and supervisor experience.
- Three years of hotel maintenance experience, with special emphasis on preventative maintenance
- Vocational schooling, military training, certification and/or experience in building related trades required in 1 or more of the following areas: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry.
- Climbing, reading, standing, walking, and routinely lifting 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Be able to develop a working knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing to include water/steam.
- Must be able to become proficient in reading OEM schematics and manuals.
- Must have a working knowledge of computers and MS XP operating software and MS Office programs to include Word and Excel.
- Practical knowledge of central laundry production and techniques.
- Must be able to receive instructions and communicate progress of work assignments.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
