  • Own deployment and maturity of the KHMS Maintenance, Reliability & Engineering pillar, including daily performance routines, monthly pillar reviews, 90-day plans and escalation of barriers.
  • Maintain asset hierarchy, functional locations, asset master data and criticality rankings in the CMMS, and develop maintenance strategies based on asset criticality.
  • Create and govern a rolling 52-week maintenance plan and a two-week detailed schedule aligned with production windows, labor, skills, parts, tools, permits and contractor resources.
  • Improve preventive and proactive maintenance effectiveness and reduce reactive work using failure analysis, Pareto reviews, root-cause problem solving, troubleshooting guides and condition monitoring where justified.
  • Partner with Production and Sanitation on planned downtime, handoffs, start-up readiness and rapid response while maintaining long-term reliability discipline.
  • Support reliable operation and maintenance of utilities and facilities, including ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, electrical distribution, water and wastewater, as assigned.
  • Manage maintenance projects through prioritization, design review, procurement, installation, commissioning, documentation, training and handoff to operations.
  • Support OT infrastructure and security controls in partnership with site and enterprise OT/IT resources.
  • Build and manage the annual maintenance budget and monthly forecast, review spending with Finance and take corrective action on variances.
  • Lead spare-parts and storeroom governance, including critical spares, min/max levels, obsolescence, cycle counts, kitting, repairable spares and stock-out reduction.
  • Select and manage contractors and OEMs, including scope, safety expectations, deliverables, cost controls, documentation and performance reviews.
  • Lead, coach and develop maintenance leaders, planners, technicians, utilities personnel and apprentices while building skills, accountability, succession and engagement in a unionized manufacturing environment.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, Operations or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience.
  • Progressive leadership experience in maintenance or reliability within a high-speed manufacturing environment. Food or beverage manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading maintenance planning and scheduling, preventive or predictive maintenance, CMMS/SAP work management, root-cause analysis, equipment reliability and maintenance cost control.
  • Working knowledge of industrial mechanical, electrical, controls/automation, utilities and facility systems.
  • Experience leading people, contractors, budgets and cross-functional improvement work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to analyze operational and financial data, translate losses into action plans, communicate across organizational levels and sustain execution routines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ammonia refrigeration and OSHA Process Safety Management or EPA Risk Management Program requirements.
  • Experience with KHMS, TPM, WCM or another integrated manufacturing excellence system.
  • CMRP, CRL, PMP, Lean/Six Sigma, refrigeration/PSM or a related technical certification.
  • Experience in a unionized facility and with food-safety systems such as FSSC 22000, HACCP and GMPs.
  • Experience with condition monitoring, asset criticality, reliability-centered maintenance, storeroom optimization or capital project delivery.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in an office and active food-manufacturing environment with machinery, wet areas, temperature variation, noise and required personal protective equipment.
  • The role requires frequent presence on the plant floor, including stairs, platforms, production, maintenance, utility and warehouse areas.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
