The posting

The role involves end-to-end ownership of business applications, overseeing application development, implementation, enhancement, maintenance, and support. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, IT Project Leads, Scrum Masters, developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and other technology teams to ensure that applications effectively support business operations and deliver optimal performance.

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

Software and Application Management

Take end-to-end ownership of assigned software applications, ensuring their availability, stability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Manage the full application lifecycle, including application development, implementation, enhancement, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning.

Oversee application support activities, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and escalation of incidents and problems.

Ensure applications meet business requirements, operational standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.

Drive application enhancements and process automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and user experience.

Establish and maintain application documentation, operating procedures, support models, and system configurations.

Project and Delivery Management

Lead and manage application-related projects and initiatives from planning through implementation and post-production support.

Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, Scrum Masters, IT Project Leads, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful end-to-end delivery.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional deliverables in collaboration with relevant teams.

Ensure project deliverables, milestones, timelines, and quality standards are achieved.

Stakeholder and Vendor Management

Serve as the key point of contact between business stakeholders and technology teams for assigned applications.

Manage relationships and communications with internal stakeholders, application vendors, and external service providers.

Coordinate with business users to understand application-related challenges, operational requirements, and opportunities for improvement.

Application Governance and Continuous Improvement

Ensure applications comply with the Bank's IT governance, risk management, information security, and regulatory requirements.

Oversee application access controls, audit requirements, system documentation, and operational controls.

Identify opportunities to optimize application architecture, functionality, performance, and operational processes.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Professional and Technical

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Software Management, Application Management, IT Delivery, or Technology Project Management within private banking, wealth management, banking, or asset management.

Strong understanding of the private banking and wealth management value chain, particularly:

Know Your Client (KYC) and client due diligence.

Client onboarding and periodic reviews.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Document management and workflow solutions.

Client and account management processes.

Banking operations and related business applications.
