Citrix Administrator

Location: Singapore

About the Role

We are seeking a Citrix Administrator to support and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments. You will troubleshoot user issues, monitor infrastructure health and help ensure reliable access to virtual applications and desktops.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Citrix incidents and service requests.
  • Troubleshoot login, application launch, printing, user profile and file-access issues.
  • Support the installation, configuration and maintenance of Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Citrix Workspace and Virtual Delivery Agents.
  • Monitor infrastructure health, user sessions and performance using Citrix Director.
  • Assist with managing machine catalogs and delivery groups.
  • Support Windows Server and desktop operating systems within the Citrix environment.
  • Perform routine health checks, basic performance tuning, patching and upgrades.
  • Manage users, groups and Group Policies through Active Directory.
  • Support disaster recovery testing and scheduled maintenance.
  • Maintain operational procedures, configuration records and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams and vendors to resolve complex issues.

Requirements

  • Around 1 year of hands-on Citrix administration or support experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, XenApp or XenDesktop.
  • Familiarity with Citrix Workspace, StoreFront and Director.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
  • Basic understanding of VMware vSphere, Hyper-V or similar virtualisation platforms.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPNs and firewalls.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate with others and take ownership of assigned issues.
  • Willingness to support after-hours maintenance when required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Citrix Certified Associate or an equivalent certification.
  • Microsoft Windows Server certification.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
