The Opportunity

As an Automotive Sales Representative, you will play an important role in helping customers find the right vehicle while delivering an exceptional Heller Experience from start to finish.

You will work closely with our sales, finance, service, and management teams to provide customers with a professional, transparent, and enjoyable vehicle-buying experience.

Responsibilities

  • Guide customers through a professional and established vehicle-buying process
  • Build relationships with customers and understand their needs, wants, and budget
  • Develop strong product knowledge of new and used vehicles, features, technology, and benefits
  • Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives
  • Present vehicles and payment options in a clear and professional manner
  • Work with customers to overcome objections and close deals
  • Complete vehicle deliveries while ensuring customers understand vehicle features, warranties, and paperwork
  • Follow up with customers after the sale to build long-term relationships
  • Generate repeat and referral business
  • Prospect for new customers through phone calls, emails, online leads, and other approved methods
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer leads and inquiries
  • Work effectively with dealership management, finance, service, and other departments
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent Heller Ford with integrity
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and customer satisfaction goals

What We're Looking For

  • Experienced in automotive sales or another sales/customer-service environment preferred, but not required

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple customers and leads simultaneously
  • Must pass required pre-employment testing, including background check and drug screening
