Location: Vernal, UT Employment Type: Full-Time

About Us Heritage Ford of Vernal is part of Heritage Automotive, a family of dealerships built on serving our communities with integrity and taking care of our people. We’re the go-to Ford store for the Uintah Basin, supporting retail customers, fleet accounts, and the energy and agriculture businesses that keep this area running. We’re looking for a Parts Manager who wants to lead a team, grow a department, and be part of a group that invests in its leaders.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, hire, train, and develop the parts team, including counter, wholesale, and shipping/receiving staff
  • Own the department’s gross profit, expense control, and monthly financial performance
  • Manage inventory to Ford standards: stocking levels, obsolescence, aging, returns, and accurate cycle counts
  • Build and grow wholesale and fleet business with local shops, commercial accounts, and the oilfield and ag community
  • Partner closely with the Service Manager to keep technicians productive and repair orders moving
  • Oversee special orders, back orders, and customer follow-up so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Maintain pricing strategies, vendor relationships, and Ford parts program compliance
  • Keep the department organized, clean, safe, and audit-ready
  • Deliver a customer experience that earns repeat business and strong CSI

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of automotive parts experience; previous parts management or assistant management strongly preferred
  • Ford/Motorcraft experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of a dealership DMS (CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, parts P&L, and key department metrics
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with accountability for results
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen
