Hvorfor er vi særligt spændende

I Afdeling for Medicinske Sygdomme på Herlev og Gentofte Hospital bliver du en del af en ganske særlig medicinsk afdeling, med 4 specialer: Endokrinologi. infektion, geriatri og selvfølgelig lungemedicinsk.

Vores mål er en sygeplejerskegruppe med stærk fagidentitet og faglig stolthed!

Vi udøver sygepleje med patientens individuelle behov i centrum og med afsæt i fundamental of cares begrebsramme.

Det lungemedicinske speciale har gennem de seneste år udviklet sig meget. I afdelingen yder vi semi-intensiv behandling og pleje til de komplekse respiratorisk syge patienter. Vi har 4 intermediære senge, hvor afsnittets kritisk syge patienter ligger. Vores patientgruppe består hovedsageligt af patienter med KOL, astma og lungedræn. Derudover er vi en del af en medicinsk afdeling med mange komplekse intern medicinske patienter. Vi har desuden en del terminale patienter, hvor vi har fokus på at dække deres palliative behov og sikre lindring i den sidste tid.

Afsnittet er kendetegnet ved, at vi:

  • Har effektive patientforløb med et stort patientflow
  • Udøver personcentreret sygepleje Har et rigtigt godt sammenhold i personalegruppen, der overvejende består af sygeplejersker
  • Arbejder tværfagligt med både læger og fysio- og ergoterapeuter
  • Arbejder målrettet på at øge patient- og pårørendetilfredshed

Vi forventer, at du:

  • Har lyst til at yde sygepleje tæt på patienterne
  • Har mod på at pleje kritisk syge patienter
  • Tænker medinddragelse i al kontakt med patienter og pårørende
  • Har gode samarbejds- og kommunikationsevner
  • Har mod på at forandringer er en del af hverdagen
  • Har mod på at blive udfordret fagligt
