Role Overview

You will take ownership of testing strategy and execution, focusing on API and integration testing using SoapUI, while also contributing to CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure operations—truly reflecting a DevOps mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for APIs and integrations using SoapUI and related tools for a high-performance software solution
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to backend development, infrastructure (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement in test coverage, automation, and quality assurance processes. Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver features. Participate in Scrum ceremonies and agile planning processes.

Requirements:

  • Solid expertise in API testing using SoapUI (functional, load, and security testing).
  • Solid understanding of API design principles (REST, OpenAPI, GraphQL) and microservices architecture.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in other testing tools (Cucumber, Selenium)
  • Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks, including SoapUI,Playwrightand Cypress (preferred).
  • Practical experience with performance testing using JMeter.
  • Database experience with SQL systems (Oracle, PostgreSQL); exposure to NoSQL solutions is a plus.
