Make a difference every day. Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue. What You’ll Get to Do As a Maintenance Technician, no two days will look exactly the same. You’ll use your skills and problem-solving abilities to:
Perform general building repairs, including drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, masonry, and basic HVAC troubleshooting
Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to help keep equipment and building systems operating properly
Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment throughout the community
Document completed work using asset management software
Support OSHA and Life Safety Code compliance requirements
Assist with equipment moves, room setups, and other needs throughout the community
Work with outside vendors and contractors as directed
Assist with snow removal and seasonal maintenance when needed
Complete Life Safety Code audits as assigned
Participate in an on-call rotation as needed
What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is dependable, takes initiative, and can handle a variety of maintenance needs with professionalism. Preferred qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Two or more years of building maintenance experience
HVAC education, training, or hands-on experience
General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
Maintenance-related certification
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle as needed
You’ll also need the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform the bending, standing, walking, and other physical activity that comes with a hands-on maintenance position.
