Server – Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna Location: 10890 S. 208th Street, Gretna, NE 68028Service Line: Hillcrest Highlands of GretnaSchedule: Full-Time Days: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Full-Time Evenings: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for friendly, dependable, and service-focused Servers to join our dining team at Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna. Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna offers a resort-style senior living environment focused on comfort, connection, and an exceptional resident experience. As a Server, you will play an important role in making mealtime something residents and guests can genuinely look forward to. As a Server, you will help bring that mission to life by creating a welcoming dining experience, providing attentive service, and building meaningful relationships with the people you serve. What You’ll Do As a Server, you will work closely with residents, guests, and the culinary team to provide friendly, efficient, and personalized dining service. You will:
Greet residents and guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take and communicate meal and beverage orders accurately. Assist residents with menu selections and dining requests. Serve meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner. Learn resident preferences and help create a personalized dining experience. Set up dining areas before service and clean and reset tables afterward. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment. Assist with stocking dining areas and maintaining appropriate supply levels. Work closely with the culinary team to keep meal service running smoothly. Communicate resident preferences, concerns, or special requests to the appropriate team member. Follow food-safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures. Assist with special meals, celebrations, events, and additional dining needs as assigned. Jump in and help the team wherever needed.

Ideal candidates will have:

A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed. Ability to stay organized during busy meal periods. Strong attention to detail. A genuine interest in working with aging adults. Ability to work effectively as part of a culinary and hospitality team. Comfort working in a fast-paced dining environment. Previous restaurant, senior living, hospitality, food service, or customer-service experience preferred but not required.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous serving, restaurant, hospitality, senior living, or food-service experience preferred but not required.

Physical & Other Requirements
Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Must be able to safely perform the physical duties associated with dining service. Must be able to perform repetitive standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the shift. Must be flexible and calm when responding to resident, guest, or family needs. Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced dining environment. Must be able to utilize technology and available resources efficiently and effectively. Must follow established food-safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures. Other duties as assigned.
