Job Summary   Schedule Hours: 3:30pm - 1:00am (Monday-Thursday) & 12:30pm - 5:30pm (Friday)  Hourly Pay Rate: $20.50 + $Shift Differential   Supports Operations by moving materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility with a variety of powered industrial equipment.   Essential Job Functions *  

Operates a variety of powered, industrial equipment Loads and unloads trucks Ability to use a hand scanner Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations Transfers finished products to designated areas Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger

High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Competencies – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  

Material handling experience is strongly preferred. Forklift Certification required. Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus. Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel. Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.

Work Environment

Material Handler: Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.

Physical Demands

Material Handler: Medium - Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs.
