POSITION TITLE:

Instructional Aide - ESL/Bilingual MASTER

QUALIFICATIONS:

HS Graduate or GED minimum

Equivalency of Associate's Degree or successful completion of locally administered competency examination

Valid Texas Educational Aide certificate

State fingerprinting requirement

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To assist the teacher in maintaining appropriate classroom activities and environment in order that students may learn effectively. Work under the general supervision of the principal and the immediate direction of a certified teacher.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to work well with children: Basic knowledge of general office and audiovisual equipment; basic typing/keyboarding skills; good organizational and communication skills; computer knowledge/background desired.

EXPERIENCE:

Some experience working with children; Bilingual Required
