In this role, you’ll bring mechanical concepts to life—transforming customer specifications into high‑quality designs that support essential energy infrastructure. You’ll work with 2D and 3D design tools, solve meaningful technical challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.

If you thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy creative problem‑solving, and want to build solutions that support a more sustainable energy future, this role offers room to grow, lead, and make a visible impact.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering design activities.
  • Create and modify drawings, Bills of Materials, and technical documentation.
  • Lead and participate in design and customer specification reviews.
  • Provide timely mechanical engineering support across teams.
  • Support customer inquiries with clear, technically sound responses.
  • Contribute to vendor qualification, new component development, and testing.
  • Conduct analysis, design, and development work using 2D/3D tools for transformer products.
  • Mentor and guide early‑career engineering colleagues.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Creo, or similar 2D/3D modeling tools.
  • Experience working with industrial or engineering standards.
  • Knowledge of pad‑mounted transformer design (preferred).
  • Familiarity with IEEE and CSA standards for distribution transformers (preferred).

More about us

  • We are committed to advancing a sustainable energy future through cutting‑edge technologies and global collaboration.
  • You’ll have opportunities for continuous learning, skills development, and career mobility across our worldwide organization.
  • We foster an inclusive, supportive environment where every voice contributes to meaningful innovation.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
