Als Internal Control Officer speel je een sleutelrol in het versterken van onze governance en internal control omgeving, met een sterke focus op J-SOX compliance. Je beweegt je op het snijvlak van Finance, Risk en Compliance en zorgt ervoor dat processen, documentatie en planningen betrouwbaar, compliant en efficiënt verlopen.

Jouw impact:

Je rapporteert aan onze Internal Control Specialist. Je opereert op groepsniveau en speelt een sleutelrol in het verder professionaliseren van governance, internal control en internal audits. Je helpt bij het voorbereiden, coördineren en vastleggen van audit- en control activiteiten en zorgt ervoor dat informatie en documentatie tijdig en correct beschikbaar zijn. Je standplaats is Almelo. Beperkt internationaal reizen maakt onderdeel uit van deze functie.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

Audit & Control

• Je assisteert bij het ontwikkelen en onderhouden van Risk & Control Matrices (RCM’s) en bijbehorende procesbeschrijvingen;

• Je ondersteunt bij het verzamelen, controleren en structureren van auditdocumentatie;

• Je voert controles en testwerkzaamheden uit;

• Je bewaakt actiepunten, deadlines en opvolging van bevindingen;

• Je bereidt management overzichten en rapportages voor;

• Je denkt mee over efficiency en automatisering van controls en voorstellen om processen te verbeteren.

J-SOX

• Je assisteert bij het optimaliseren van het J-SOX framework voor alle HITEC-entiteiten;

• Je adviseert proceseigenaren over risico’s, beheersmaatregelen en procesverbeteringen;

• Je voert waar nodig zelfstandig Test of Design (ToD) en Test of Effectiveness (ToE) uit;

• Je documenteert testresultaten en bevindingen;

• Je signaleert risico’s en vertaalt tekortkomingen naar concrete verbeteracties;

• Je ondersteunt bij het samenstellen van heldere rapportages en inzichten.

Compliance & Governance

• Je draagt bij aan het versterken van control awareness binnen de organisatie;

• Je ondersteunt en adviseert control owners en proceseigenaren bij het uitvoeren en verbeteren van controls;

• Je signaleert risico’s en afwijkingen en vertaalt deze naar concrete beheersmaatregelen.

Requirements

Je werkt nauwkeurig, bent proactief en houdt overzicht, ook wanneer meerdere processen tegelijk lopen. Daarnaast vind je het leuk om samen te werken in een internationale en dynamische omgeving.

Je beschikt over:

• Een hbo- of wo opleiding, bij voorkeur in Finance of Accountancy;

• 2-5 jaar ervaring in internal control en/of (internal) audit;

• Ervaring met J-SOX, SOX of vergelijkbare control frameworks;

• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels;

• Analytisch sterk en oog voor detail.
