About the Position

Are you a technically minded professional who enjoys working at the intersection of customers, suppliers, production, and business? Do you thrive in a role where you can combine product ownership, stakeholder coordination, and practical problem-solving? Then this could be the opportunity for you.

At Höganäs, we are looking for a Product Manager, Additives to take operational ownership of our additives portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products remain reliable, compliant, and aligned with customer needs throughout their lifecycle. You will act as a key link between suppliers, production units, sales teams, and technical specialists, making sure product-related decisions are based on both customer requirements and business needs.

This is a role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, driving improvements, and working hands-on with technical and commercial stakeholders across the organization.

About the Role

As Product Manager, Additives, you will be part of the Product Management team and collaborate closely with colleagues across Höganäs, including Sales, R&D, Production, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, and Technical Support.

Your main responsibility is to ensure that the additives portfolio is effectively managed and continuously developed from an operational perspective. You will oversee product specifications, coordinate supplier-related matters, support quality and change management activities, and act as a key point of contact for product-related questions.

You will have a broad network of stakeholders and play an important role in ensuring that decisions regarding raw materials, specifications, manufacturing processes, and product changes are communicated, understood, and implemented successfully throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

As Product Manager, Additives, you will:

  • Be responsible for technical matters related to established additive suppliers and support supplier collaboration and development.
  • Safeguard the customer perspective in decisions related to process changes, raw materials, specifications, analytical methods, and quality requirements.
  • Own and maintain product specifications for both sales products and purchased materials.
  • Evaluate, coordinate, and communicate product and raw material changes across relevant functions.
  • Support new product introductions, portfolio updates, and product phase-outs.
  • Act as a key contact for product-related enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor quality signals, support investigations, and contribute to resolving product-related issues.
  • Drive structured decision-making and follow-up activities to ensure successful implementation of changes.
  • Manage product discontinuation processes and ensure clear stakeholder communication throughout the lifecycle.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you bring a combination of technical knowledge, coordination skills, and a customer-oriented mindset.

You also have:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or another relevant technical field.
  • 2 - 3 years experience working in an industrial environment within Product Management, Technical Support, R&D, Quality or Purchasing.
  • A solid understanding of materials, raw materials, specifications, quality requirements, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers and managing technical information.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Who You Are

As a person, you are structured, curious, and proactive. You enjoy taking ownership and ensuring that tasks move forward from discussion to implementation. You are comfortable navigating between details and the bigger picture and can balance customer expectations with operational and business considerations.

You build trust through collaboration and clear communication and enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and disciplines. At the same time, you are practical and solution-oriented, with a genuine interest in products, quality, and continuous improvement.

Does this sound like the perfect opportunity for you? We'd love to hear from you! Please send in your application before the deadline 31/10 2026, we are reviewing applications continuously and may close the position before the application deadline.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
