The posting

Als Lector Cybersecurity binnen het Linux- en Cloud-domein word jij een spilfiguur op onze hoogtechnologische Campus Brugge. In deze voltijdse rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het opleiden van de cybersecurity-specialisten van morgen, waarbij je de brug slaat tussen open-source fundamenten en geavanceerde cloud-architecturen. Je brengt complexe theorieën tot leven door middel van interactieve presentaties en live demo's, om de studenten vervolgens te begeleiden in onze praktijkgerichte labo’s. Jouw expertise focust zich op Linux-systeembeheer en robuuste security-architectuur. Je leert studenten hoe ze infrastructuren niet alleen bouwen, maar ook fundamenteel harden en beveiligen. Hierbij navigeer je vlot tussen on-premise virtualisatie via Proxmox VE en moderne publieke multi-cloud platformen zoals AWS en GCP. Daarnaast dompel je de studenten onder in de wereld van containerisatie met Docker en Kubernetes, en leer je hen omgevingen schaalbaar en veilig automatiseren via Infrastructure as Code-tools zoals Ansible en Terraform. We zoeken voor deze functie bij voorkeur een professional die al wat stappen in het werkveld heeft gezet, al sluiten we de deuren zeker niet voor beloftevolle juniors met een uitzonderlijk sterke Linux-basis en de juiste drive. Aanvullende kennis van Linux-forensics of malware-analyse is een mooie troef, maar de absolute prioriteit ligt bij jouw passie om systeem- en cloudbeveiliging op een inspirerende manier over te dragen.

Vereist diploma en kennis:

Diploma bachelor of master

Je bezit goede mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels.

C1 attest Engels of bereid om dit te behalen

Indien je over een buitenlands diploma beschikt, met uitzondering van Nederland, dient een gelijkwaardigheidsattest van NARIC (www.naric.be) toegevoegd te worden.

Je coacht studenten bij het bouwen, harden en beveiligen van private en publieke cloud-omgevingen.

Je brengt studenten de knepen van het vak bij rond containerisatie (Docker, Kubernetes) en Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).

Je slaat de brug tussen on-premise virtualisatie (Proxmox VE) en publieke multi-cloud platformen (AWS en GCP).

Je volgt de trends in cloud security op de voet en implementeert deze in het curriculum.
