The posting

With a career at The Home Depot, you can be yourself and also be part of something bigger.

Position Purpose:

As Principal Product Manager for Product Detail Pages, you will shape one of The Home Depot’s most critical digital experiences, helping customers confidently choose the right products and driving measurable conversion and sales growth. You will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, translating customer needs, business priorities, and complex, ambiguous opportunities into focused initiatives that deliver results.

This role sits at the intersection of merchandising, online experience, engineering, data science, design, analytics, and product management. You will align teams around a shared direction, influence decisions across all levels of the organization, and coordinate priorities and dependencies across product domains. Success requires a strong cross-functional partner who brings clarity to competing perspectives and keeps teams moving toward common goals.

You will connect long-term strategy to hands-on execution - defining success metrics, making thoughtful tradeoffs, guiding experimentation, and staying close to delivery and outcomes. You will also establish the processes and ways of working that help teams make decisions, resolve obstacles, and deliver consistently. This role is a strong fit for a dynamic product leader who can set an ambitious vision, work through the details, and turn broad growth objectives into meaningful improvements for customers and the business. This role reports to the Director, Online Experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 10% Delivery and Execution - Coordinates Distinguished Engineers, User Experience Principals, and Impacted Teams to ensure path to scope is known and aligned; Reviews recommended solutions and work of product team to ensure products are aligned with company, stakeholder and end user priorities
  • 60% Strategy and Planning - Partners with either a Cross-Functional Program or Technology Portfolio to align outcomes; Cascading context up to leadership and strategy down to balanced teams using OKRs; Lead cross-functional discovery by partnering with UX Principals, Distinguished Engineers (DEs), and balanced teams; Creation, coordination, and sequencing of activities to ensure alignment across impacted teams (Inputs for planning sessions); Providing visibility of the work by providing holistic roadmap with dependencies
  • 30% Team and Stakeholder - Partners with leadership to represent the portfolio during enterprise planning, coordination, and discovery; Fosters collaboration across multiple teams and portfolios to drive value and identify and resolve impediments; Manages cross-functional team and stakeholder expectations to ensure scoping aligns to product strategy and provides education to requestors to determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
