The Role

As an IT Service & Application Analyst at Honey Birdette, you’ll play an important role in supporting the applications and technology that power our global retail and digital operations.

This is a hands-on, hybrid support role working across our retail technology ecosystem, including ERP, e-commerce, middleware, finance and logistics platforms. You’ll provide first and second line support, troubleshoot application and integration issues, and help keep our omnichannel operations running smoothly.

Working closely with business teams, technology partners and external vendors, you’ll investigate incidents, resolve system and data issues, support end users, and contribute to ongoing enhancements and automation. From troubleshooting API failures and monitoring integrations to setting up new starters and resolving order flow issues, no two days will look quite the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide first and second line support across business applications, including ERP, e-commerce, finance, middleware and logistics platforms
  • Troubleshoot, triage and resolve application bugs, incidents and system issues
  • Monitor integration health and investigate REST and SOAP API failures, message queue errors and pipeline issues
  • Investigate and resolve end-to-end order flow issues, from order capture through to warehouse dispatch
  • Support omnichannel processes, including inventory integrations, inter-branch stock transfers and international consolidation flows
  • Investigate data discrepancies across systems, including pricing, stock, orders and currency
  • Manage user access and support end-user onboarding and offboarding
  • Set up and configure laptops, systems and software for new and existing team members
  • Onboard users to business systems and provide training where required
  • Liaise with external vendors to troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolutions
  • Maintain clear system, application and process documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing systems, support processes and automation
  • Contribute to ongoing application enhancements and technology improvements
  • Use AI tools to support ticket triage, problem-solving and day-to-day productivity

Your Sweet Spots (About You)

  • 5+ years’ experience in application support, ideally within a retail or e-commerce environment
  • Experience reading and debugging code in an object-oriented language, preferably .NET or Java
  • Hands-on experience supporting ERP, e-commerce, finance or other business-critical platforms
  • Experience troubleshooting middleware or iPaaS integration flows using platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft or similar
  • Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, including reading payloads, identifying failures and working with vendors
  • Understanding of omnichannel retail operations, including order management, fulfilment, inventory and inter-branch transfers
  • Familiarity with retail ERP concepts, including purchase orders, goods receipts, stock, pricing and multi-currency
  • Experience supporting the e-commerce order lifecycle and 3PL integrations
  • Working exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI and Power Automate
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and problem-solving
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to providing dependable end-user support

Desired but not essential:

  • Experience with retail ERP, middleware or e-commerce platforms
  • Exposure to multi-region retail operations across Australia, the UK, the US or Europe
  • Experience supporting international orders and cross-region inventory flows
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, global retail environment

  • Generous Product Discounts
  • Self Love Leave
  • Convenient Sydney CBD Office

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
