Job Description

As a Channel Marketing Specialist at Honeywell Technology , you will drive the implementation and ongoing management of the CPP across META. You will also manage AFRICA partner governance, tiering, channel conflicts and disputes, while expanding and optimizing the partner network to support regional growth plans. Working closely with sales, sales excellence, marketing and other stakeholders, you will align partner coverage, capabilities and business plans with strategic priorities. Data and reporting tools will support these decisions rather than define the role.

You will report directly to our Chief Commercial Officer and you’ll work out of our Cairo, Egypt location.

In this role, you will strengthen channel effectiveness, build partner capabilities and ensure a well-governed, commercially aligned partner network that supports sustainable growth across Africa.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead CPP execution across META, ensuring consistent application of program requirements, partner eligibility, benefits and governance in line with approved policies.
  • Manage the AFRICA partner lifecycle, including qualification, onboarding, tiering, periodic reviews, renewals and recommendations for tier changes or exits, subject to required approvals.
  • Act as the primary coordination point for channel conflicts and partner disputes, including territory overlap, account ownership and opportunity registration; document issues, facilitate resolution and escalate exceptions through the appropriate governance process.
  • Develop and execute AFRICA partner network expansion plans aligned with Africa growth priorities, identifying coverage gaps by country, customer segment, solution portfolio and route to market, and recruiting qualified partners.
  • Optimize the existing AFRICA partner network by assessing coverage, capabilities, commercial contribution and strategic fit; recommend development, consolidation or rationalization actions to address gaps and unnecessary overlap.
  • Align partner business plans with regional sales and growth objectives, agreeing priorities, targets, coverage responsibilities and joint actions with partners and internal sales leaders.
  • Build partner capabilities through structured onboarding, training, certification and enablement, coordinating with product, technical and marketing teams to improve partners' ability to sell, deliver and support Honeywell solutions.
  • Establish regular partner business reviews and track CPP adoption, tier compliance, network coverage, pipeline, revenue growth and agreed actions; coordinate with sales excellence to maintain reliable partner and CRM records.
  • Use NEX (Salesforce.com), Power BI and other reporting tools as supporting resources to identify risks and opportunities, inform partner decisions and monitor progress. Dashboard development is not the primary focus of the role.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Proven experience of at least 6-8 years in channel marketing, marketing analytics, data analysis, or related roles
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in channel partner management, partner programs, distribution management or related commercial roles.
  • Practical experience implementing and managing structured partner programs, including partner qualification, tiering, governance and lifecycle management.
  • Experience resolving channel conflicts and partner disputes through clear rules, stakeholder coordination, negotiation and appropriate escalation.
  • Experience recruiting, developing and optimizing partner networks to support commercial growth and market coverage objectives.
  • Strong understanding of distribution and partner channel dynamics, with experience translating business priorities into partner coverage and joint business plans.
  • Strong relationship management, negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to influence partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret commercial and partner performance data and use CRM and reporting tools to support decisions; advanced Power BI or dashboard-development expertise is not required.

Experience working across African markets or similarly diverse, multi-country channel environments.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A commercially focused approach to partner development, program governance and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic thinking and sound judgment in balancing growth, partner relationships and channel discipline.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, sales excellence, marketing, technical, finance and legal teams.
  • Experience in building automation, technology or manufacturing, and familiarity with African market dynamics and partner ecosystems.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
