The posting

A global manufacturing company which listed in Hong Kong is looking for a high-calibre Compliance & Company Secretary professional to join her company.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full spectrum of company secretarial, compliance and corporate governance related matters for the Group
  • Assisting the Chairman Office in handling the corporate exercises and other relevant matters of the Group or other relevant companies (Companies) as assigned by the Chairman Office from time to time
  • Liaise with external and internal parties and advise on listing compliance matters (such as meetings, annual reports, circulars and announcements) and corporate exercise of the Companies
  • Drafting and reviewing agreements and relevant documentation in respect of the corporate exercises of the Companies
  • Any ad hoc task assigned by the management

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in corporate governance or other business discipline
  • Legal related experiences is highly advantageous
  • More than 5 years working experiences in professional firm setting or in-house paralegal position
  • Newly qualified professional or qualified professional with 1 to 2 years post qualification experience acquired
  • Strong knowledge in Companies Ordinance, Hong Kong Listing Rules, Securities and Futures Ordinance and other relevant rules and regulations (e.g. knowledge on trade sanctions is a plus)
  • Excellent command in spoken and written Chinese and English
