The posting

A reputable Financial Group listed in Hong Kong is looking for a sales-driven Elite Banker, responsible for managing client portfolio for Private Banking, Personal Banking, Funds Investment and Insurance Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide the one-stop banking, investment & insurance services for high-net worth clients
  • Explore and develop long-term banking & financial relationships with customers
  • Identify existing and prospective customers' needs of financial services, including both products & services
  • Appropriately map and provide relevant and suitable financial products & services to meet existing and prospective customers' needs, including but not limited to the provision of investment, insurance and other banking products
  • Influence and facilitate working-partners to refer and cross-offer potential business opportunities for sustainable business growth
  • Work closely with various Profit Centres, such as Private Banking, Personal Banking (Commercial Loans, Deposits, Personal Loans, Credit Card, etc.) and other key stakeholders in building healthy sales pipelines to ensure key performance indicators are being met
  • Ensure compliance requirements are strictly observed and followed, contribute as part of the Bank's bigger anti-money laundry (AML) team
  • Groom mobile wealth management team members if necessary

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent, with qualifications in IIQE, HKSI & MPF, CFPCM will be preferred
  • Holders of CB Professional Qualifications and/or Awards will be preferred
  • Experiences and proven track record in managing and growing an assigned customer portfolio will be a definite advantage
  • Sound knowledge and at least 3 years' solid experiences in Private Banking, Retail banking products & services, including but not limited to full-fledged investment and insurance products, knowledge and experiences in commercial banking products & services and Fund Investment a definite advantage
  • Ability to influence various key stakeholders in referring and cross-offering potential business opportunities for sustainable business growth
  • Highly agile in learning, adapting to ever-changing business environment, and with strong ability to cope with fast, dynamic pace
  • Highly sensitive to customers' needs, able to provide quality services in exploring and consolidating long term banking relationships among personal and commercial customers
  • Proactive, mature, independent, customer-focused, and pleasant
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal & communication skills
  • Good command of both verbal and written English and Chinese, Putonghua a definite plus
  • Experience in Cross-border Business is definitely preferable
  • Those candidates without both HKSI Paper 1, 7 & 8 and IIQE Paper 1 & 3 should NOT apply
