The posting

Wij zoeken een gedreven, herstelgerichte, zorgzame projectmedewerker "Preventie schooluitval" voor onze (nieuwe) vlot bereikbare secundaire jezuïetenschool in Sint-Jans-Molenbeek. Onze school ligt op 3 min. stappen van trein, bus en metro Weststation / Brussel West en op 1 min. van tramhalte Vierwinden. Sinds 1 september 2026 zijn we ook met het vierde jaar gestart, waardoor we dit schooljaar leerlingen hebben in het 1ste, 2de, 3de jaar en 4de jaar. Samen met onze leerlingen groeien we jaar na jaar door tot een school van 840 leerlingen. We zijn een domeinschool die vanaf het 3de jaar studierichtingen aanbiedt in de drie finaliteiten (doorstroom, dubbele en arbeidsmarkt) binnen de domeinen STEM en Maatschappij & Welzijn. Het ignatiaans opvoedingsproject van de jezuïeten is hierbij onze sterke pedagogische basis.

Individuele begeleiding

  • Eerste aanspreekpunt: Je bent een luisterend oor voor leerlingen met een verhoogd risico op schooluitval. Je ondersteunt leerkrachten wanneer ze zich zorgen maken over een leerling.
  • Trajectbegeleiding: Waar nodig/nuttig start je individuele, aanklampende begeleidingstrajecten op en evalueert de vooruitgang (bv. rond tijdig aankomen, correct gedrag, ...). Je doet dit in nauw overleg met het zorgteam.

Preventie en herstel

  • Verbindend schoolklimaat: Je ondersteunt leerkrachten bij het versterken van de groepsdynamiek in de klassen en bespreekt tijdig signalen rond vroegtijdige schooluitval.
  • Preventieve projecten: Je zet workshops, groepssessies en activiteiten rond motivatie, studievaardigheden en welzijn. Je initieert nieuwe ideeën en methodieken om leerlingen te betrekken, bij te sturen, motiveren en te inspireren.
  • Herstelgerichte aanpak: Je zet bij ongepast gedrag in op herstel.

Samenwerking en netwerkvorming

  • Interne afstemming: Je werkt nauw samen met de directeur, de graadcoördinator, de tuchtcoördinator, de leerlingcoaches en het leerlingensecretariaat.
  • Opvolging & rapportering: Je coördineert de aanpak rond de preventie van schooluitval. Je volgt wekelijks/maandelijks een aantal indicatoren op om zo, datagedreven, de impact van dit project op te volgen. Je rapporteert de resultaten aan de directeur, het zorgteam en de subsidiërende overheden.
  • Externe partners & uitbouw netwerk: Je gaat actief op zoek naar partners uit de buurt die het netwerk rond onze leerlingen kunnen versterken en ons kunnen helpen om hen te ondersteunen.
  • Ouderbetrokkenheid: Je onderhoudt warme, constructieve en verhelderende contacten met ouders of voogden van leerlingen met een verhoogd risico op schooluitval en hebt hierbij oog voor de diverse en meertalige grootstedelijke context.
