The posting

Your mission

Two well-established companies in the maritime market have joined forces to form Secureload. At Hoppe Marine, we’ve been setting global standards in maritime fluid control and vessel performance technology for over 75 years. As a proudly independent and family-owned company, we combine deep industry expertise with a commitment to innovation and precision engineering. In collaboration with Admaren Tech (India), we’ve launched a groundbreaking company – SecureLoad. SecureLoad is the world’s first web-based loading computer and stowage planner, built to transform how vessels manage maritime operations. This next-generation solution brings together German reliability and Indian software excellence, enabling smarter, safer, and more efficient maritime operations.

The Sales Manager – Europe will be responsible for driving sales of SecureLoad’s existing software and digital solutions across the European maritime market. The role will focus on identifying qualified customers, presenting the relevant SecureLoad solutions, managing opportunities through the complete sales cycle, and converting them into confirmed orders and long-term customer relationships. The Sales Manager will work closely with shipowners, ship operators, technical managers, commercial teams, shipyards and maritime engineering organisations. This is primarily a customer-facing sales role with clear responsibility for pipeline development, commercial follow-up, order conversion and revenue growth.

  • Drive sales of SecureLoad solutions to shipowners, operators, technical managers, commercial managers, shipyards and other maritime organisations across Europe
  • Develop and manage a structured sales pipeline covering qualified leads, product demonstrations, proposals, negotiations and confirmed orders
  • Take ownership of the complete sales process, from initial customer engagement and needs assessment through proposal submission, commercial negotiation and contract closure
  • Promote and sell SecureLoad’s existing product portfolio
  • Understand each customer’s operational requirements in areas such as vessel loading, stability assessment, ballast planning, cargo stowage, fleet planning and ship–shore coordination, and recommend the most appropriate SecureLoad solution
  • Present and demonstrate the SecureLoad platform, including its web-based multi-user environment, interactive 3D and 2D visualisation, stability and strength calculations, ballast optimisation and cargo-planning capabilities
  • Prepare clear and commercially competitive quotations, proposals and solution packages in cooperation with SecureLoad’s technical and management teams
  • Maintain regular and disciplined follow-up with customers to move opportunities through the sales process and avoid delays in commercial decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, influencers and operational users within target customer organisations
  • Identify opportunities to expand SecureLoad’s presence within existing customer accounts through additional vessels, fleet-wide deployment, additional modules and related services.
  • Coordinate customer-specific technical discussions with SecureLoad’s engineering and product teams while retaining ownership of the overall commercial process
  • Support sales opportunities involving specialised vessels and complex cargo operations, including heavy-lift vessels, multipurpose vessels, floating docks, jack-up vessels, offshore units and other project-cargo applications
  • Organise and participate in customer meetings, product demonstrations, trade fairs, conferences and maritime industry events
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, quotations, customer discussions, expected order dates and sales forecasts in the company’s CRM system
  • Provide regular sales reports covering pipeline value, opportunity status, expected closures, customer feedback, market response and actions required from internal teams
  • Travel regularly within Europe and, where required, to other international maritime markets for customer meetings, demonstrations and industry events

Your profile

  • Proven sales experience in technically sophisticated or consultative solution selling, ideally in the maritime, offshore or shipbuilding industry
  • Good understanding of cargo operations, loading/stability topics, vessel planning or related marine engineering applications is highly desirable
  • Experience in selling software, digital platforms or engineering-based products is an advantage
  • Ideally a degree in naval architecture, marine engineering, mechanical engineering, commercial shipping, or a comparable field or practical experience in maritime operations
  • Confident communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Strong customer focus, commercial drive and the ability to explain complex solutions in a clear and convincing way
  • Independent, structured and result-oriented working style
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout Europe and internationally when required.

Why us?

  • A pivotal role in launching a high-impact maritime technology
  • Collaboration within a seasoned, international team (Hamburg & India)
  • Continuous professional development in line with Secureload core values
  • Opportunity to shape SecureLoad’s future and drive global maritime innovation
  • Many other benefits such as regular team events, monthly Urban Sports Club membership allowance, lunch delivery for small price, language courses, company bike leasing, subsidized public transportation ticket, meditation offers, and much more

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
