This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Bucharest, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What will you do:

  • Support in Panel Management: Assist in gathering and analyzing market data to support the development of supplier panel strategies.
  • Help implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
  • Supplier Management: Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives (identify cost-saving opportunities), partners with cross-functional teams to evaluate and select the suppliers based on cost, delivery, quality and innovation capabilities.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and propose preventive measures. Assist in developing contingency plans to mitigate risks related to raw materials, electronic components, geopolitical issues, and financial matters.
  • What we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • From 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of direct procurement or commodity management, preferable in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Business English, any other language is nice to have (Eg. Chinese).
  • Knowledge of procurement systems, MS Office and cost analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of regional global market dynamics.
  • Solution oriented person.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
