We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead Diagnostic CORE and Dependability (System Safety), a technically central area within embedded powertrain software. This role combines engineering ownership, technical direction, delivery responsibility and people leadership across diagnostic fault management and ICE system safety development.
This role is for someone who wants to lead both people and technology in a deep embedded software domain. You will guide engineers working with ICE applications, while helping the organization through its next development phase.
Skills and Experience
Education/experience background:
- Proven engineering leadership in embedded software, diagnostics, controls, system safety (ISO26262) or comparable domains.
- A collaborative leadership style with strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Understanding of automotive diagnostics, fault management, dependability or functional safety.
- Ability to create clarity across software, systems, calibration, test and project interfaces.
Your role at Aurobay
As an Engineering Manager you will:
- Lead and develop teams working with Diagnostic Fault Manager and ICE system safety development.
- Provide technical and delivery leadership for teams.
- Secure delivery, competence growth and ways of working in a complex embedded software environment.
- Represent the area in cross-functional technical forums and remove obstacles for efficient execution.
- Secure engineering quality through clear priorities, design discussions, risk handling and follow-up.
