What you will be doing

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Program Coordination & Alignment

  • Serve as the enterprise point of contact for Community Benefit programming, maintaining a current roster of HSS community programs, program leads, and partner organizations across all departments and regions.
  • Engage departments to identify HSS-funded community programs not yet captured in Community Benefit reporting, learning what each program does, who it serves, and how it is funded.
  • Guide program leads in aligning new and existing offerings with CHNA and CSP priorities, applying Community Benefit criteria so programs are designed from the start to qualify for IRS Schedule H (Form 990) inclusion.
  • Coordinate implementation of the Enterprise Community Benefit Program & Evaluation Framework at the program level, helping departments understand expectations and move through the phased roadmap.

Regional & Department Partnerships

  • Partner with program leads and Regional Ambassadors across the enterprise, including regional sites, to identify gaps, reduce duplication, and align offerings with CSP priorities and Community Benefit requirements.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with community-based organizations and expand partnerships that reach populations with the greatest health need.

Mission Impact Committee & Governance Support

  • Coordinate logistics for Mission Impact Committee meetings, including scheduling, communications, materials preparation, minutes, and tracking of follow-up actions.
  • Lead development and production of the annual Community Benefit report, coordinating content and timelines.
  • Support development of committee presentations, briefing materials, and Community Benefit updates for the Committee, executive sponsors, and institutional leadership.
  • Coordinate leadership convenings and cross-departmental working sessions that advance the Committee’s multi-year roadmap and priorities.

Project Management & Collaboration

  • Manage the annual Community Benefit project calendar, including CHNA, CSP, and Schedule H milestones, ensuring departments and program leads meet submission deadlines.
  • Serve as the operational liaison to the Senior Coordinator, Outcomes, Data Analytics & Scholarly Activity, connecting program leads for accountability.
  • Coordinate with HSS Finance, Marketing, and other internal partners to keep Community Benefit timelines, communications, and deliverables on track.
  • Provide general administrative support to the department and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, nonprofit management, or a related field required.
  • Master’s degree (e.g., MPH, MPA, MHA) preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in community health programming, community benefit, program coordination, or a related field, including independent management of programs or projects.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and coordinate work across multiple departments, clinical stakeholders, and community-based organizations in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables across an enterprise.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, professionally, and effectively to clinical, administrative, executive, and community audiences.
  • Commitment to health equity and culturally responsive engagement with diverse communities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a clinically oriented, academic medical center setting.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
