The posting

Als Allround Hulpkelner / Commis de Salle bij Van der Valk Hotel Brussels Airport ondersteun je de zaalservice in onze verschillende F&B outlets, zoals het restaurant en bar en events.

Je werkt in een vaste shift (ochtend of avond) en wordt binnen deze dienst flexibel ingezet afhankelijk van de operationele noden. Je draagt bij aan een vlotte, verzorgde en gastgerichte service volgens de kwaliteitsstandaarden van het hotel.

Kernactiviteiten:

  • Uitvoeren van mise-en-place van zaal, meubilair, materiaal, bestek, dranken en decoratie
  • Serveren van gerechten, dranken en benodigdheden volgens instructies
  • Afruimen van tafels en zorgen voor orde en netheid in de zaal
  • Bereiden en serveren van dranken (koffie, aperitieven, cocktails en soft drinks)
  • Flexibel meewerken binnen de shift in zowel restaurantservice als events en banqueting en de bar
  • Klaarzetten en opruimen van buffetten en vergaderzalen (inclusief audiovisueel materiaal)
  • Voorbereiden van de volgende service na afloop van de shift
  • Uitvoeren van schoonmaaktaken en naleven van HACCP-richtlijnen
  • Flexibel inzetbaar binnen de gekozen shift (ochtend of avond), zowel in restaurant, bar als events en banqueting
  • Hands-on mentaliteit
  • Gemotiveerd en leergierig (ervaring is een plus, geen vereiste)
  • Nauwkeurig met oog voor orde en netheid
  • Klantgericht met een verzorgd voorkomen
  • Teamplayer
  • Bereid om zowel weekends als feestdagen te werken
  • Kennis van ENG of FR, NL is een pluspunt
