Van der Valk Mechelen is een 4* hotel met hoge ambities. Via de 125 gastenkamers, 7 multifunctionele vergader-/feestzalen en gezellige bar/restaurant, willen we een gevarieerd cliënteel aantrekken: van toeristen tot zakenlui of gezinnen die gewoon iets te vieren hebben. Onze missie is een ontspannen, gastvrije en unieke ervaring te bieden aan onze gasten. De centrale ligging aan de rand van de Dijle en het buitengewone historische kader, maken het voormalige zwembad “Ouwen Dok” tot de perfecte locatie hiervoor. Ons professioneel en dynamisch personeelsteam zorgt voor de rest van de bijzondere beleving naar onze gasten.

Jouw takenpakket

  • Verantwoordelijk voor het dagelijks leiden en coördineren van het F&B team (bestaande uit ons vast team, flexi's en studenten).
  • Overzicht behouden en zorgen voor een vlotte service zodat onze gasten in de watten worden gelegd en een onvergetelijke ervaring beleven!
  • Je bent het aanspreekpunt tijdens de service in het restaurant/op brunches/events en biedt een warm onthaal aan.
  • Je communiceert vlot en efficiënt met de keuken en de andere betrokken departementen.
  • Zorgen voor een WAUW effect en een culinaire beleving samen met jouw team!
  • Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie.
  • Je bent een kei in het aansturen en motiveren van collega’s en je bent altijd bereid om over je eigen afdelingsgrenzen heen te kijken.
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels
  • Uitermate klantgericht ingesteld met een gastvrije uitstraling.
  • Je bent stressbestendig en blijft steeds kalm onder hoge werkdruk.
  • Flexibel ingesteld, werken in het weekend en op feestdagen schrikken je niet af.
  • Je lééft voor de horeca en volgt met passie alle ontwikkelingen en trends in deze branche, zodat onze service en diensten altijd up-to-date zijn.
