Job Title: Bird Control Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a hardworking and responsible Bird Control Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in installing and maintaining bird deterrent systems at commercial, industrial and residential premises to prevent bird-related problems.

No high level of education is required. Candidates who are willing to learn, work at heights and perform hands-on work are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain various bird deterrent systems, including bird spikes, bird netting, bird gel, spring wire systems, ultrasonic devices and other bird control solutions.
  • Carry out bird exclusion works at commercial buildings, industrial facilities, warehouses and residential properties.
  • Operate lifting equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts and other access equipment when required.
  • Perform work at heights safely and follow all workplace safety procedures.
  • Conduct site inspections, cleaning and basic preparation works before installation.
  • Ensure all installations are completed properly and meet the required quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in good condition.
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to complete assigned projects on schedule.

Job Requirements

  • No minimum educational qualifications required. PSLE holders are welcome to apply.
  • Willing to learn new skills and perform hands-on work.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and outdoors.
  • Willing to operate lifting equipment and work at different job sites.
  • Good team spirit and able to work well with colleagues.
  • Able to understand and follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Responsible, punctual and safety-conscious.
  • Prior experience in construction and maintenance is an advantage but not required.
  • Relevant work-at-height safety training and lifting equipment certifications are an advantage. Training may be provided where applicable.
