Ønskede kvalifikasjoner

  • God fagkunnskap
  • Grundleggande kunskap om Nordisk og international mat

  • Snakke flytende norsk (eller annet skandinavisk språk) og/eller engelsk

Hovdestøylen

Hovdestøylen på Hovden i Setesdal og er en del av Hovden Alpin Resort. Hotellet er fullstendig nyrenovert i 2021 med 180 senger, fordelt på 38 dobbeltrom og 20 leiligheter, restaurant, bar og flere møterom/selskapslokaler. Hovdestøylen skal være storstuen på Hovden og vi etterstreber høy kvalitet i alt vi tilbyr våre kunder. Vi vil være kjent for utmerket service og en skikkelig god atmosfære. Restauranten har egen vinbar og med egen sommelier er dette et fagområde vi satser mye på.

Hovden Alpin Resort AS er lokalisert på Hovden i Bykle kommune, øverst i Setesdal. Selskapet driver skianlegg, hotell, 4 restauranter, sportsbutikk og andre aktiviteter. Selskapet har 130 ansatte og er i sterk vekst. Visjonen er å skape gode opplevelser for alle gjestene og utviklingen på Hovden de siste årene har vært stor.

Hovdestøylen is leading hotel at Hovden. Our food service is known for high quality and our employees are expected to live up to this quality through professional and committed work.

Chef

We are looking for an experienced chef that reports directly to the Head Chef at Hovdestøylen Hotell.

This is the job for you who love to cook and thrives in an busy kitchen. You are flexible, positive and find it inspiring to help create new concepts. You are professional and personal in your meetings with our guests and colleagues as well as a good employee.

Position is available imidietely. Start-up by agreement

Work assignments:

  • Mice en place
  • Preparation of hot and cold food
  • Ensure that all guests have a very good dining experience
  • Ensure that the area is tidy and presentable
  • HACCP control
  • Contribute to a good atmosphere to the kitchen
  • General kitchen/dishwashing work

Wanted qualifications

  • Good professional knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of Nordic and international cuisine
  • Experience from similar positions
  • High degree of flexibility in order to cope with rapid changes and decisions
  • Speak fluent Norwegian (or another Scandinavian language) and/or English
  • Benefit with driving license and car

Scope

We are looking for a chef for a full-time position throughout the year

Work on weekends and holidays must be expected

About Hovdestøylen

Hovdestøylen at Hovden in Setesdal and is part of the Hovden Alpin Resort. The hotel was completely renovated in 2021 with 180 beds, divided into 38 double rooms and 20 apartments, restaurant, bar and several meeting rooms/party rooms. Hovdestøylen will be leading hotel at Hovden and we strive for high quality in everything we offer our customers. We will be known for excellent service and a very pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant has its own wine bar with its own sommelier, this is an area of expertise we put a lot of effort into.

Hovden Alpin Resort AS is located in Hovden in Bykle municipality, at the top of Setesdal. The company operates a ski resort, hotels, 4 restaurants, sports shop and other activities.
