Why Hover wants you

Some of the largest roofing, exteriors, and remodeling companies in the country rely on Hover to measure, design, and sell jobs. We're looking for an SDR Manager to own the top of the funnel for our Construction sales organization and lead the team that opens doors at those companies. This is a chance to step into people leadership with real impact: you'll report directly to our VP of Sales, partner with executives and sales leaders across the business, and build a team that grows as Hover grows. If you've been a top SDR, love coaching others, and want to own a number that directly drives company growth, we'd love to meet you.

You will contribute by

You’ll lead and grow our Construction SDR team and own the pipeline behind our bookings goals. Most of your time goes to your team: call reviews, 1:1s, performance, and hiring and ramping new reps as we build to full headcount. You’ll also work with sales leaders and our Partnerships team to open doors with key contractors. You’ll represent Hover at industry events. And you’ll stay hands-on with our top 75 strategic accounts, leading the approach to the largest construction companies alongside our sales managers.

  • Own top-of-funnel for the Construction sales org and hit the team’s goal for bookings generated from SDR-sourced pipeline
  • Coach, manage, and develop the SDR team through call coaching, 1:1s, and clear weekly targets
  • Hire, onboard, and ramp new SDRs as we scale the team to full headcount
  • Lead strategy and outreach on the largest of Hover’s top 75 construction accounts, setting qualified meetings for $100K+ opportunities
  • Partner with Construction Sales Managers on account strategy, lead quality, and meeting handoff
  • Represent Hover at in-person events and conferences, and work with our Partnerships team to turn them into pipeline
  • Use Salesforce, Gong, and AI tools to improve team productivity, insight, and meeting quality
  • Build AI into how the team works, from account research and personalized outreach to call review and coaching

Your background includes

  • A proven track record as a top-performing SDR or BDR, with consistent quota attainment
  • Experience leading, managing, or formally coaching SDRs (as a team lead, player-coach, or manager); typically 3+ years in sales development overall
  • A history of setting meetings that turned into $100K+ opportunities with large, complex organizations
  • Strong command of Salesforce, Outreach (or similar sequencing tools) and Gong, as well as hands-on experience using AI tools to improve prospecting and coaching
  • Strategic, problem-solving mindset: you look past activity metrics to find the plays that move pipeline
  • Clear, confident communication with executives, sales leaders, and reps alike
  • Ability to work from our New York City office with the team

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience selling into construction, roofing, exteriors, home services, or building products
  • Experience running field events or partner-driven pipeline programs
  • Experience hiring SDRs and building a team from the ground up

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
