Responsibilities
Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a hard-working person with either cold former and press operator experience or with a great mechanical aptitude and willing to be trained for a career as a cold header operator. You would be responsible for operating, watching, and eventually setting up machines. You will be drawing steel rod that is coiled on holders and welding of the steel rod. You will be watching the machine run during the production of parts and measuring parts. You are responsible for keeping the work area clean and wash the tools.

Physical requirements for daily activities (these are estimated, there is not a set routine):
- Lift 25 to 50 pounds. Normally lifts items that weigh at least 50 pounds
- Be able to bend, stoop and climb
- Be able to walk and stand on your feet for a full 10-hour shift
- Use hand tools, measuring devices, overhead cranes, and forklifts.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High School or equivalent (Preferred)
- Manufacturing experience (Preferred)
