We are looking for someone who is ready to step into a bigger role, someone who has already shown strong execution and is now ready to build, lead, and scale something that matters. Our goal is clear: to create the best and one of the most respected camps anywhere What You'll Build… A Camp That Stands Out Reimagine and lead Camp J as a flagship, high-demand program Develop standout camps that attract new audiences and deepen engagement Design experiences that feel intentional, high-quality, and memorable Continuously evolve programming based on trends, feedback, and performance A Year-Round Youth Platform Oversee and expand Kids Night Out and family experiences Oversee and expand vacation and seasonal camps Build a clear pathway for families from ECLC through teen leadership Launch new offerings that increase both participation and revenue A Team That Grows Under You Recruit, train, and mentor exceptional staff Build a leadership pipeline from CITs and counselors to future program leaders Create systems for onboarding, training, feedback, and growth Set a culture of ownership, accountability, and pride (Strong programs intentionally develop staff and leadership at every level ) A Culture Families Trust Build strong, lasting relationships with families Create an experience that feels organized, safe, warm, and exciting Serve as a visible, responsive leader in the community Partner across departments to create a unified family experience A Smarter, More Innovative Operation Integrate AI and technology into programming, communication, and operations Build systems to track enrollment, retention, and engagement Use data to continuously improve programs and decision-making How You'll Be Measured This is a results-driven leadership role. You will be expected not only to meet expectations, but to exceed them. Success will be measured by: Growth in enrollment across camp and youth programs Retention of campers and families year over year Staff performance, development, and retention Expansion and success of new youth programs and specialty offerings Strength of relationships with families and community Overall program quality and reputation You are someone who is energized by clear goals and takes ownership of outcomes. Who You Are You are ready for a step-up role where you can build something meaningful You have experience executing, and you are ready to lead at a higher level You are both strategic and hands-on You develop people, not just programs You are creative, curious, and willing to try new approaches You are highly organized and follow through on what you start You are strong with people, especially parents, staff, and young leaders You likely have: 8+ years of experience in camp, youth programming, or experiential education Strong leadership experience managing operations, including budgeting, expense oversight, staffing, vendor coordination, and hitting program goals A track record of growing programs and improving performance over time Experience building, managing, and developing teams Clear, confident communication and strong organizational skills Comfort using new tools and technology, including a willingness to explore AI-driven approaches Experience in the Jewish community, with a strong understanding of Jewish culture, values, and family life Why This Role Matters This role shapes how families experience Shalom Orlando. It influences whether children feel a true sense of belonging. Whether parents trust, engage, and come back. Whether staff grow into confident leaders. You are not stepping into a system that's already built. You are helping define what this becomes. If you believe camp is one of the most powerful ways to build community where children belong and families connect, this is your chance to lead, build, and make it real. We'd love to meet you.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
