The posting

Product Manager, Digital Assets - CSD & Settlement

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a Product Manager, Digital Assets - CSD & Settlement to join the Digital Assets team. The position will be based in Paris or London, and start ASAP. You will report to the CPO Digital Asset.

We are seeking someone with hands-on central securities depository (CSD), international central securities depository (ICSD) or custodian experience, particularly in securities settlement, who wants to apply it to tokenised securities. An interest in digital assets and Web3 is required; previous experience in these areas is not.

You will primarily be responsible for:

  • Designing digital-asset products and operating models covering securities issuance, custody, settlement and lifecycle events
  • Defining how CSD issuance and settlement work for tokens: issuance against CSD positions, minting and burning, the register as legal record and reconciliation of CSD books with on-chain supply
  • Defining settlement workflows, including matching, delivery-versus-payment, reconciliation and exception handling, and how CSD and TARGET2-Securities (T2S) processes adapt for tokenised securities
  • Defining asset servicing for tokenised securities (coupons, redemptions, corporate actions) and how custodians and linked CSDs receive and reconcile it
  • Working with Legal, Compliance, Risk and Operations to address regulatory requirements, settlement finality, asset protection and operational readiness, including under the Central Securities Depositories Regulation (CSDR) and the Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Pilot Regime
  • Owning a product workstream and its backlog through to launch, contributing to roadmap prioritisation alongside the Chief Product Officer and monitoring adoption, settlement performance and exception rates

Your profile:

  • At least five years inside a CSD, ICSD or custodian in settlement, issuance or asset servicing, ideally including a T2S migration or a digital-securities project
  • Deep knowledge of securities settlement (matching, delivery-versus-payment, finality, fails) and of the lifecycle from issuance to corporate actions
  • Understanding of CSDR notary, central maintenance and settlement services, and of how holdings are recorded across CSD, custodian and investor accounts
  • Product management, business analysis or service development experience in securities-market infrastructure, including owning a roadmap or backlog
  • Experience leading initiatives across CSDs, custodians and settlement banks, agreeing operating models, responsibilities and controls
  • Experience running participant market testing and readiness for a CSD migration or new service
  • Exposure to cross-CSD links, ISO 20022 settlement messaging or custodian connectivity
  • Fluency in English

Nice to have, not mandatory:

  • Involvement in a CSD digital-securities platform, a DLT Pilot Regime project, the UK Digital Securities Sandbox or Eurosystem DLT trials
  • Familiarity with DLT-based settlement, digital custody, smart contracts or digital forms of cash
  • Knowledge of blockchain, DLT, decentralised finance or crypto, even just as a user rather than professionally, is much appreciated
  • Experience preparing a CSDR authorisation, DLT Pilot Regime application or other regulatory filing
  • Knowledge of a Euronext Securities market: Denmark, Italy, Norway or Portugal

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
