Key Responsibilities

  • Perform refraction tests and assist customers with their vision correction needs, within the scope of your qualifications and registration.
  • Recommend suitable lenses, lens coatings, frames, and eyewear solutions based on customers’ prescriptions, lifestyles, and preferences.
  • Provide professional advice on eyewear selection, fitting, and care.
  • Maintain accurate customer prescription records, work orders, and payment records.
  • Assist with daily store operations, inventory management, and maintaining a well-presented retail environment.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum NITEC in Opticianry or a related field.
  • Must meet the required Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB) registration or licensing requirements in Singapore.
  • Strong interest in optical products, eyewear, and customer service.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented, proactive, and willing to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Provisionally registered (PV) Opticians are welcome to apply, subject to applicable registration and practice requirements.

Salary & Benefits

  • Monthly Salary: $3,200 – $4,000
  • 13th Month Bonus (AWS)
