IT Infrastructure Assistant Manager

Job Summary

Supports the IT Infrastructure Manager in managing infrastructure operations and ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day infrastructure operations and technical support activities.
  • Manage network, server, cloud, storage, backup, and endpoint environments.
  • Monitor infrastructure availability, capacity, and performance.
  • Lead infrastructure implementation, upgrade, and migration projects.
  • Assist in incident, problem, and change management.
  • Ensure infrastructure security controls and standards are implemented.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
  • Mentor infrastructure specialists and technical staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience.
  • Experience supervising or leading infrastructure teams.
  • Knowledge of enterprise networking, servers, cloud, virtualization, and security.
  • Strong troubleshooting and project coordination skills.
