Position Purpose

The Centralized Senior Leasing Manager leads leasing across a portfolio of 10 to 18 affordable housing communities. Through centralized leasing operations, this role supports revenue performance and a goal of maintaining occupancy at or above 98%.

Using EliseAI and Yardi Voyager 8, the manager oversees lead follow up, tours, applications, waitlists, lease conversions, and the accuracy of leasing and marketing information. The role requires strong knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, and other affordable housing programs.

  • Identify each prospect’s needs and preferences and recommend appropriate housing options with warmth and professionalism.
  • Present communities, amenities, and available homes through virtual or in person tours, highlighting features relevant to each prospect.
  • Keep current on availability, pricing, and promotions so prospects receive accurate information.

Application Processing

  • Send prospects the application link and clear instructions for completing the process.
  • Manage the applicant queue and waitlist priorities to support timely, orderly processing across the portfolio.
  • Follow up with applicants to obtain completed applications and required documentation.
  • Review applications for completeness and accuracy before submitting them for compliance review.
  • Coordinate with Preferred Compliance, the third party compliance agency, to support timely review and approval under applicable program requirements.

Data and CRM Management

  • Report occupancy and leasing performance by community to the Regional Property Manager, Vice President, and Executive Vice President of Property Management.
  • Flag communities trending below 98% occupancy and provide a corrective plan.
  • Partner with the VP of Marketing to monitor market conditions, competitors, and recommend pricing, incentives, or outreach adjustments to support occupancy.
  • Ensure leasing activity and AI managed communications comply with Fair Housing requirements and applicable affordable housing program rules, including LIHTC and HUD.
  • Record prospect interactions and leasing activity in the Elise AI CRM platform and schedule timely follow up.
  • Encourage prospects to opt in to SMS communication when appropriate.
  • Track occupancy, lead conversion, days vacant, and application processing time.

Customer Service

  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries by phone, email, and SMS.
  • Address prospect questions and concerns in accordance with company policies.
  • Resolve inquiries thoroughly and efficiently while protecting confidential information and maintaining a high standard of service.

Collaboration with Other Duties

  • Coordinate with onsite teams to move prospects from inquiry and tour through application and signed lease, with clear handoffs at each stage.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
  • Visit portfolio communities as needed for leasing events or occupancy issues that require onsite support.

  • Initiative, integrity, accountability, and the ability to work independently in a primarily virtual role.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
