Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the airside products division in Texas. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive knowledge of sales strategies, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the air distribution industry. Responsibilities:

Sales and Distribution Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets for airside products through direct to owner, contractor, engineering, and warehouse distribution sales. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize their potential and achieve individual and team sales targets for airside products. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion in the airside products industry. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty for airside products. Product Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of the company's airside products, including air distribution systems, ventilation products, and related equipment, and effectively communicate their value proposition to customers. Customer Interaction and Order Securing: Actively engage with customers through regular site visits, presentations, and feedback sessions to understand their needs better, tailor strategies accordingly, and secure orders to meet sales objectives. Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded for airside products. Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales department budget for airside products, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve sales objectives. Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives related to airside products. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize sales processes and enhance overall performance for airside products.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred. Proven experience in sales management within the air distribution industry, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with customers and partners. Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems. Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support sales activities for airside products.
