Job Title: Junior Contract Commerce Specialist (Fresh Graduate)
Job Location: Milan, Via Lorenteggio 240; Rome, Via Del Serafico 89 (Italy)
Work Policy & Hours: On-site (5 days/week in office, 09:00 – 18:00)
Contract Type: Full-Time employment
Compensation package: Base salary, performance bonus (0-1 month), €8/day meal vouchers (buoni pasto)
About the Role
As a Junior Contract Commerce Specialist at Huawei Italy, you will be responsible for end-to-end contract management, ensuring the overall quality, compliance, and commercial viability of sales contracts between Huawei and its customers or business partners. You will play a pivotal role in contract drafting, risk mitigation, and commercial negotiations for major ICT and telecommunication projects.
Main Responsibilities
- End-to-End Contract Management: Oversee the full contract lifecycle to ensure overall commercial quality and alignment between Huawei and customers/partners.
- Proposal & Documentation Preparation: Prepare commercial proposals, bidding Statements of Compliance (SOC), contracts, cover letters, and other contract-related documentation in collaboration with relevant business units.
- Commercial Model Design: Design appropriate contractual business models tailored to specific bid requirements while identifying, preventing, and mitigating Huawei’s commercial risk exposures.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiation teams as the chief negotiator for telecommunication projects to achieve key business and contractual objectives.
- Review & Risk Assessment: Draft contracts and actively participate in comprehensive contract reviews to support strategic decision-making throughout the contracting phases.
- Governance & Process Compliance: Organize internal contract review and approval workflows in strict accordance with corporate regulations, ensuring process compliance to efficiently empower sales activities.
Requirements:
- Fresh Graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance, Management Engineering, International Trade/Law or a related field. The graduation date should ideally be within 6-12 months of the start date.
- Professional Experience: Prior work, internship or academic exposure to commercial contract management, legal review, or commercial analysis is a plus. Passion for large-scale ICT/telecommunications projects is highly valued.
- Analytical & Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities combined with excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Languages: Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required. Italian language proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Work Authorization: Must hold valid authorization to live and work in Italy.
