About the Project: Power and Thermal Analysis of Emerging Memory Technologies in 3D-Integrated AI Accelerators

AI accelerators face two major challenges: the memory wall and the thermal wall. While 3D integration offers a promising solution to the memory wall, it can exacerbate thermal challenges. This project aims to develop a simulation framework for evaluating the power and thermal characteristics of 3D-integrated computing systems employing conventional and emerging memory technologies, such as advanced SRAM and MRAM. The work involves integrating architectural simulators, such as gem5, with power estimation models and thermal simulation tools, such as HotSpot. The developed framework will be used to investigate the impact of memory technologies, reinforcement based task scheduling and workload characteristics on power consumption, performance, and temperature distribution of the AI SoC.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
