As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will work hands-on to build and continuously improve our shared Microsoft Fabric data platform and integration capabilities. You will develop and maintain reusable platform components, inbound connectivity and ingestion patterns that solution teams can adopt, and outbound data integrations using Azure Integration Services.

Working closely with architects, integration stakeholders and solution teams, you will translate architectural direction into secure, reliable and maintainable implementations. Your work will strengthen engineering automation, platform performance and cost efficiency, support platform modernization, and enable responsible adoption of AI-assisted engineering.

Where you’ll be

This role is based at our Espoo, Finland Headquarters on a hybrid (4 days per week) basis.

What you'll be doing

  • Shared platform capabilities. Develop and maintain reusable platform components, frameworks, automation, templates and standardized engineering patterns that support multiple solution teams.
  • Inbound connectivity. Build and maintain shared source-system connectivity capabilities and reusable ingestion patterns, enabling solution teams to bring data into the platform consistently and reliably using approved frameworks.
  • Outbound data integrations azure integration services. Design, develop and maintain outbound data integrations using AIS, collaborating with integration stakeholders and consuming-system teams to deliver reliable data flows aligned with agreed integration standards and target architecture.
  • CI/CD and engineering practices. Improve platform CI/CD and development practices, including Git/version control, code reviews, automated testing, deployment pipelines, service-principal-based deployments and consistent Dev/Test/Prod environments.
  • Architecture, standards and guardrails. Implement and uphold agreed platform and integration architecture, standards and guardrails. Support solution teams in adopting approved capabilities and patterns and bring justified exceptions through architecture review.
  • Security and access controls. Implement and maintain agreed security and access controls across platform components and integrations, in collaboration with architecture, infrastructure and security stakeholders.
  • Developer enablement and operational readiness. Provide documentation, technical onboarding and practical engineering guidance so solution teams can use shared capabilities effectively. Ensure platform components and integrations are maintainable and ready for handover.
  • Modernization and continuous improvement. Take ownership of assigned technical work in platform migrations, new capability rollouts and legacy decommissioning initiatives. Reduce technical debt, replace temporary workarounds and evaluate new capabilities.
  • AI-assisted and agentic engineering. Contribute to the adoption of AI-assisted and agentic engineering practices.

  • Python, PySpark and SQL: Shared frameworks, ingestion and data processing.
  • Azure Integration Services (AIS): Inbound connectivity and outbound data integrations.
  • Integration technologies: REST APIs, authentication, source-system connectivity and reusable ingestion patterns.
  • Git and Azure DevOps: Version control, pull requests, automated testing and CI/CD.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
