The posting

Looking for Philippines-based candidates

Job Role: Social Media and Content Manager (Video Editing Focus)

Compensation range: $1,500 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with Brisbane business hours (approx. 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Brisbane time (AEST, no daylight saving), Monday to Friday for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our client is an established, multi-location allied health practice based in Brisbane, Australia, with a growing network of clinics. Their multidisciplinary team includes physiotherapists, podiatrists and remedial massage therapists, providing a range of patient-focused services.

The business is also expanding into the wellness space with the launch of a premium, physiotherapist-led Pilates studio. The studio is designed primarily for women seeking a safe, supportive and professionally guided approach to movement, strength and overall wellbeing.

Role Overview: Our client is seeking a creative and highly organised Social Media and Content Manager to take ownership of content planning, editing and publishing across two distinct brands.

Filming is handled locally by the Australian-based team, so you’ll receive raw footage and turn it into polished, engaging content. You’ll plan the content calendar, edit short-form videos, design graphics, write captions, and manage scheduling and distribution across all platforms with minimal supervision.

This is a video-editing-first role requiring high-volume output, strong creative judgement and the ability to turn healthcare and wellness information into clear, engaging stories for prospective patients and customers. We’re looking for someone who uses AI creatively, particularly to produce graphics and visual elements that make videos more engaging.

You’ll also need the judgement to maintain two distinct brand voices. One brand focuses on warmth, expertise, collaboration and empowerment. The other centres on connection, presence, quality and enjoyment of movement. Its culture combines purposeful, high-quality training with a warm, playful and non-performative atmosphere, where how you move matters more than how many repetitions you complete.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar for 2 brands, aligned with clinic promotions, new services and launch campaigns
  • Edit short-form video from supplied footage for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts
  • Use AI tools to create visual content that makes videos more engaging, such as animated text, motion graphics, illustrations, b-roll and thumbnails. AI is used for graphics and visual enhancement only, never to create images of patients, treatment results or testimonials
  • Brief local team on what footage to capture, including shot lists and simple scripts
  • Write engaging captions, hooks and short scripts that turn health information into clear, relatable content
  • Design carousels, graphics and story content following each brand’s guidelines
  • Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile
  • Repurpose longer content (e.g. practitioner videos) into multiple short-form formats
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages, flagging all reviews and any clinical questions to the team
  • Set up and manage ManyChat automations, such as replies and lead magnets linked to Reels
  • Report monthly on reach, engagement and enquiries, with recommendations for what to do more or less of
  • Use AI tools to speed up editing, captioning and ideation

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts and content calendars, ideally for more than one brand
  • Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut or similar) with a portfolio of short-form work
  • Strong, hands-on experience using AI tools to create graphics and visual elements for video (e.g. Canva Magic Studio, CapCut AI, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway or similar). Please include examples in your portfolio
  • Strong Canva skills and a good eye for clean, premium design
  • Excellent written English, with the ability to write natural Australian-friendly captions
  • Experience with scheduling tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, OneUp)
  • Highly organised, reliable and able to manage deadlines independently
  • Comfortable working from raw footage supplied by someone else

Highly Regarded

  • Experience in healthcare, allied health, fitness or Pilates content
  • Understanding of healthcare advertising rules (in Australia, the AHPRA advertising guidelines), or willingness to learn them
  • Experience with AI video tools such as Opus Clip or AI video generators
  • Experience setting up ManyChat or similar automation tools
  • Experience working remotely with Australian businesses

What Success Looks Like

  • A full content calendar planned at least two weeks ahead for both brands
  • Consistent, on-brand posting with minimal input from the owners
  • Footage turned around quickly into polished content
  • Videos that consistently use graphics, text and AI visuals to hold attention and lift watch time
  • Steady growth in reach, engagement and enquiries for 2 brands

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
  • Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
