Kvalifikasjoner

  • Maskinoffiser klasse 4 eller høyere - krav for tilsetting
  • Maskinvaktsertifikat (dersom det ikke er inkludert i MO-sertifikatet) - krav for tilsetting
  • ERM Engine Room Resource Management
  • Gyldig helseattest for sjøfolk
  • Krise- og passasjerhåndtering/Crowd and Crises management STCW AV/2 - krav før oppstart
  • STCW Videregående Sikkerhetskurs (IMO80) - krav før oppstart
  • Lavspent elektrokurs
  • Flytende norsk eller annet skandiniavisk språk pga norsk sikkerhetsspråk
  • Engelsk muntlig for kommunikasjon med våre passasjerer
  • Engelsk skriftlig for å kunne lese manualer

Arbeidsoppgaver

  • Vaktgående offiser på vakt natt, i vaktsammenheng underordnet maskinsjef
  • Rapporterer til 1. maskinist som er arbeidsleder i maskin
  • Bidrar til forsvarlig og effektiv drift og vedlikehold av maskineri og hjelpeutstyr
  • Overvåker og utfører vedlikehold på maskineri og hjelpeutstyr
  • Holder orden i verktøy og reservedeler
  • Ren og ryddig arbeidsplass
  • Ansvarlig for at rutiner på vakt gjennomføres
  • Oppfølging og kontroll av bunkers- og smøroljebeholdning
  • Ansvarlig for renhold og ryddighet i kjemikaliestores, oppdatering av stoffkartotek
  • Journalføring iht. forskrift om ASH for arbeidstakere på skip
  • Informere leder om avvik
