The posting

Circulariteit, verduurzaming en de openbare ruimte vragen om scherpe keuzes. Als adviseur duurzaamheid help je gemeenten om complexe vraagstukken te vertalen naar duurzame plannen en besluiten. Daarbij zit je niet alleen aan tafel met bestuurders en beleidsmakers, maar ben je ook regelmatig aanwezig op onze locaties om te zien wat er in de praktijk speelt. Juist door beleid en uitvoering met elkaar te verbinden maak je duurzame ambities haalbaar.

Dit werk vraagt om meer dan alleen kennis van de inhoud of van het gemeentelijke proces. Je voelt je verbonden met de duurzaamheidsmissie van HVC en wilt vanuit die overtuiging langdurig verschil maken. Met lef en authenticiteit vertaal je politieke en bestuurlijke verwachtingen naar concrete plannen, resultaten en innovatieve oplossingen. Bestaande routes zijn daarbij niet altijd leidend: je krijgt de ruimte om nieuwe wegen te verkennen en gemeenten mee te nemen in kansrijke oplossingen. Zo zorg je ervoor dat de politiek op basis van relevante informatie en een zorgvuldig proces haar afwegingen kan maken.

Diederik Notenboom – Adviseur Duurzaamheid “Wat mij iedere dag motiveert, is dat ik vanuit mijn passie echt kan bijdragen aan de klimaatdoelen van gemeenten, de missie van HVC en daardoor ook mijn eigen ambities. Samen met gemeenten zoek ik naar wat beter en duurzamer kan. Naast beproefde concepten pionier ik samen met collega's en gemeenten om nieuwe wegen te creëren. Zo bouw ik aan tastbare resultaten met een blijvende, positieve impact op onze leefomgeving."

Een greep uit jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Je adviseert gemeenten over vraagstukken rondom afvalinzameling, grondstoffen, circulariteit en het beheer van de openbare ruimte;
  • Je bouwt aan duurzame relaties met wethouders, beleidsmakers en collega's in de uitvoering. Daarbij verbind je uiteenlopende belangen, maar geef je ook een helder en onderbouwd advies wanneer keuzes anders moeten worden gemaakt;
  • Je vertaalt ambities en belangen naar concrete plannen en ondersteunt gemeenten bij besluitvorming;
  • Je signaleert kansen voor gemeenten én HVC en onderzoekt hoe innovaties en nieuwe samenwerkingen kunnen bijdragen aan verdere verduurzaming.

Maak onderdeel uit van het team Gemeenteadvies Dit team bestaat uit 3 adviseurs duurzaamheid, 1 senior accountmanager, 4 accountmanagers en 1 projectleider. Je werkt in koppels met de accountmanager samen in de regio’s waar jouw gemeenten onder vallen.

Jouw werkgebied De adviseurs werken in het verzorgingsgebied van HVC dat loopt van Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht tot Texel en van Westland tot Lelystad. Jouw focus ligt op de Drechtsteden, Westland en Flevoland. Jouw werkgebied ligt vooral in de Drechtsteden, Westland en Flevoland. Je bent daarom regelmatig onderweg. Daar krijg je natuurlijk iets voor terug: een elektrische bedrijfsauto die je ook privé mag gebruiken.

  • Academisch werk- en denkniveau (WO) en het vermogen om complexe vraagstukken te doorgronden;
  • Ervaring met een politiek-bestuurlijke omgeving en bij voorkeur met gemeentelijke besluitvorming;
  • Je beweegt je gemakkelijk tussen bestuur, beleid en uitvoering en combineert verbindend vermogen met de stevigheid om gemeenten en collega's vanuit expertise uit te dagen en richting te geven;
  • This vacancy requires an excellent command of the Dutch language.
