The posting

Een installatie vertelt veel als je weet waar je naar moet kijken. Een afwijkende meetwaarde, een verandering in een residustroom of een proces dat nét niet optimaal draait. Als chemisch technoloog bij HVC onderzoek je wat er gebeurt, waarom het gebeurt en vooral: wat er beter kan.

Daarbij blijft het niet bij analyses en rapportages. Regelmatig sta je zelf bij de installaties of onderzoek je in het laboratorium. Je werkt aan procesvraagstukken, zet proeven op, beoordeelt resultaten en vertaalt technische inzichten naar verbeteringen die in de praktijk toepasbaar zijn en werkt dit uit in een rapport.

De vraagstukken zijn uiteenlopend. Denk aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de CO₂-afvanginstallatie, de optimalisatie van de nieuwe slibdrooginstallatie en het verbeteren van de bedrijfszekerheid van de afvalverbrandingsinstallatie. Binnen die opgaven krijg je ruimte om zelf verbeterkansen te signaleren, onderzoeken op te zetten en voorstellen verder te brengen.

Van meetgegevens naar een betere installatie

In deze functie verbind je analyse, onderzoek en praktijk. Chemische, procestechnologische en milieutechnische gegevens gebruik je om inzicht te krijgen in onder meer grondstofverbruik, residustromen, procesefficiëntie en emissies.

Een gevonden oplossing moet vervolgens ook werken in de dagelijkse operatie. Daarom zoek je actief de samenwerking op met operators, onderhoud, projectteams en externe partijen. Je maakt complexe technische vraagstukken begrijpelijk, brengt verschillende inzichten bij elkaar en onderbouwt welke keuzes volgens jou het beste bijdragen aan een betrouwbare, veilige en duurzame bedrijfsvoering.

Die combinatie maakt de functie breed: de ene keer verdiep je je in data of een procesafwijking, de andere keer sta je bij een proefopstelling of bespreek je met collega's hoe een verbetering daadwerkelijk kan worden uitgevoerd.

Verantwoordelijkheden, team en werkzaamheden

Analyseren en verwerken van procesdata, meetgegevens en laboratoriumresultaten en deze vertalen naar concrete verbeteringen in processen en installaties.

  • Onderzoeken van procesafwijkingen en verstoringen, beheren en ontwikkelen van relevante prestatie-indicatoren en adviseren over oplossingen;
  • Initiëren en uitvoeren van praktijkgericht onderzoek, waaronder proefopstellingen, testen en het beoordelen van resultaten;
  • Bijdragen aan het ontwerpen, bouwen en testen van pilots en proefinstallaties en samen met collega's verbeteringen daadwerkelijk verder brengen.
  • Een afgeronde HBO opleiding Chemische Technologie, Procestechnologie of een andere relevante technische of analytische opleiding die aansluit op industriële processen;
  • Meer jaren relevante werkervaring in bijvoorbeeld de procesindustrie of een industriële productieomgeving;
  • Ervaring met procesanalyse en/of procesoptimalisatie en het vertalen van technische of analytische bevindingen naar praktische verbeteringen;
  • Je kunt technische vraagstukken helder overbrengen, goed samenwerken en schakelt gemakkelijk met verschillende disciplines en niveaus binnen een organisatie.
