The posting

Een warmtenet begint ruim voordat de eerste leiding de grond in gaat. Technische keuzes moeten kloppen, verschillende disciplines moeten op elkaar aansluiten en het ontwerp moet buiten ook werkelijk uitvoerbaar zijn. Als Discipline Engineer Warmtenetten houd jij dat geheel bij elkaar.

Binnen uitbreidingsprojecten voer je de technische regie tijdens de ontwerpfase. Je doorgrondt ontwerpen, bewaakt technische kaders en overziet de samenhang tussen verschillende disciplines. Zo zorg je dat technische concepten uitgroeien tot uitvoerbare ontwerpen voor duurzame warmtevoorzieningen voor ondernemers in het Westland.

Inhoud van de functie

Als Discipline Engineer Warmtenetten werk je aan de ontwikkeling van nieuwe warmtenetten en de aansluiting van nieuwe klanten. Vanuit technische concepten initieer je de verdere engineering naar complete uitvoeringsdossiers en bewaak je gedurende het proces de technische kwaliteit.

Daarbij hoef je niet alle ontwerpen zelf te maken. Jouw toegevoegde waarde zit juist in het overzicht: zien waar keuzes elkaar beïnvloeden, technische vraagstukken doorgronden en zorgen dat externe engineeringpartijen binnen de gestelde kaders tot een goed ontwerp komen.

De samenwerking is breed. Je werkt nauw samen met projectleiders, engineeringbureaus, gemeenten, aannemers en andere betrokken partijen. Binnen HVC maak je deel uit van Engineering en werk je intensief samen met Asset Management en Operations. Kennis en ervaring uit de praktijk neem je mee in nieuwe ontwerpen, zodat oplossingen niet alleen technisch goed zijn uitgedacht, maar ook uitvoerbaar en beheersbaar blijven.

Het technische speelveld loopt daarbij van de ondergrondse infrastructuur tot aan de installatie bij de klant.

Verantwoordelijkheden, team en werkzaamheden

In deze functie:

  • Voer je de regie over externe engineeringpartijen en stuur je op kwaliteit, voortgang en samenhang.
  • Vertaal je samen met betrokken partijen technische concepten naar complete, uitvoerbare dossiers en bewaak je de technische kaders tijdens de ontwerpfase.
  • Overzie je het totale ontwerp en presenteer en onderbouw je technische keuzes richting verschillende stakeholders.
  • Werk je met partners binnen en buiten HVC aan de verdere uitbreiding van het warmtenet en de realisatie van duurzame warmteprojecten.
  • Ervaring met ondergrondse infrastructuur, installatietechniek of warmtenetten.
  • Inzicht in engineeringprocessen en het vermogen om technische kaders en de samenhang in een ontwerp te bewaken.
  • Kennis van AutoCAD; ervaring met ArcGIS is een pré.
  • Sterk in afstemming met engineeringbureaus, aannemers, gemeenten en andere stakeholders, waarbij je zelfstandig werkt, eigenaarschap neemt en snel kunt schakelen.
